CS101 Introduction to Computing Assignment 3 Solution May 14,2010

Objective:

The assignment has been designed to enable you:
  • Understanding of HTML and JavaScript
  • Lectures covered 9,12 and 15

Task to perform

You are a web developer and you have to design a web Site for a company, your task is to design a registration page layout for this website in HTML (Registration is not required). (10 Marks)


Registration page will have three main parts

  1. Header
  2. Content
  3. Footer




Header contains the company logo an image that is available online and you should use that image in your web page.

Login controls includes one text field one password field and one submit button as you can see in above figure.


















The content section will contain three sub sections

  1. Personal information
  2. Account Information
  3. Qualification

The highest Degree combo box in Qualification section will looks like this

You can choose your own company logo (available online) and color scheme

Instructions

1.     Follow the Layout ( Header , content, footer) as Explained (3 Marks)

2.     All controls must be available and placed according to given format, Reset button works accordingly, In password more then 7 characters are restricted  (3 Marks)

1.     There should be a check on OnMouseOver event of Login button  available in header section that User name and Password fields are filled then display this message (2Marks)
